Our vegan leather is a PVC-based material. While we explored other "plant-based" alternatives, we decided that our vegan leather is best as it has proved to stand the test of time and has a true leather-like feel. Oh, and did we mention it looks fabulous too?

To keep your Dume Chair in tip-top shape, we recommend one Dume Refill Insert every 12–18 months depending on weight and usage. Each Ottoman needs a refill every 24–36 months.

Due to variations in screen displays, lighting conditions, and the nature of fabric dyeing, the actual color may differ slightly from the images shown. Some variation is natural and expected.

We recommend ordering free swatches before committing to a color.

Yes! If you're undecided on which fabric to go with, we recommend ordering fabric swatches.

Swatches are intended to support a near-term purchase decision. Palermo House may limit swatch orders per customer or household and reserves the right to cancel and refund repeat swatch orders.

Free shipping on orders over $1,000 within the continental United States. We only ship within the mainland US at this time.

We are not shipping internationally at this time.

For standard ground free shipping, expect your order in 6–8 business days. Orders in California arrive in 4 business days or less.

Vegan Leather / Outdoor: Never machine wash. Wipe with a damp cloth and a little hand soap.

Performance Fabric / Velvet: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Air dry away from direct sunlight. If ironing, use low heat on the inside of the cover.

Vegan Leather / Outdoor: Clean in circular motions using 1 part liquid hand soap to 9 parts water. Wipe with a clean damp cloth and let dry.

Velvet & Performance Fabric: Dry clean or machine wash on delicate with cold water and mild detergent.

• Blot spills immediately — never rub, as this pushes the stain deeper into the fabric.
• For most stains: blot with a dry cloth, apply equal parts white vinegar and water. If stain persists, try diluted dish soap.

The Dume Lounger can withstand moderate sun, rain, and snow. Prolonged extreme conditions may cause discoloration or deterioration. For the longest lifespan, we recommend using a Dume All-Weather Cover when not in use.

Some products, including our Vegan Leather, Outdoor, and Velvet Lounge Chairs and Ottomans, carry a Prop 65 warning. Visit the California Prop 65 website for more information.

Generally they are oversized throws so you can cover yourself from head to toe for a cozier experience. Exact dimensions may vary due to the artisan nature of the products.

The Mimosa throw is our warmest, yet extremely lightweight. The Gasa is warm, and the Nido is the most breathable.

Yes. Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with like colors only. Do not tumble dry. Warm iron if needed.
